The children and families at Stanley Road once again impressed us with their generosity this week as we had a fantastic collection of different foods brought in for our Harvest assembly. The Salvation Army came to thank us for our collection which will go to families in need and said that they thought it was the biggest donation of food from Stanley Road they had ever seen. We would like to send a big thank you to all our families for their charitable donations.

We are very pleased to announce that Huda and Hamood from Year 6 have been elected to be Stanley Road's very first head boy and head girl. This is an exciting new role in school this year. They are both fantastic role models and great ambassadors for our school.  We are pleased to announce that the votes have been counted and we can now announce our Junior Leadership Team for 2016-17. These children have been voted for in each class to represent the pupils of the school and work together on projects to improve the school in partnership with the Senior and Extended Leadership Teams.
