School Day

School starts at 8.45am. All children need to be in the playground at the back of school by 8.40am so they can be ready to enter school in good time to be entered into the daily register.  The school playground can be accessed by following the path to the right of the school building or from the entrance on Whiteley Street.  Children who are late will be admitted via the school office.

If your child has a place at breakfast club please bring them to the front entrance at 8.20am and they will be taken through into breakfast club where they can have toast, crumpets, cereal and milk to drink.  After the children have eaten, they are able to play with a range of games in the infant hall until it is time to go to class. PLEASE NOTE THAT BREAKFAST CLUB IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS.

Assembly is at 8.55am. Year group assemblies happen on Wednesday mornings so look out for information in newsletters or on our school calendar to tell you when your child's class will be performing.

The school day ends at 3.00pm. Parents need to be in the playground behind school to collect their children at this time.  Class teachers, teaching assistants and members of the senior leadership team will be available at this time if you need to speak to them.

We recommend that parents walk their children to and from school as parking near school is very difficult. If you need to drive then we advise parents to park on Whiteley street to avoid congestion.

We run a range of clubs and activities after school which your child can sign up for. Please look out for newsletters about these activities.

Visitors to school can park in the car park to the right of the main entrance if space is available.  Please note this car park is closed from 8.40 - 9.00am and from 2.55 - 3.15pm to enable parents and children to leave the premises safely.
